Two brothers in their seventies, Far ("Dad") and Moe, have lived together all their lives in a little house in the country, the only interruption being when Far made a weekend trip to Småland on his moped during the second World War. The past returns when his adult son dating from his Swedish visit, Konrad, comes to live with them after his mother has fallen ill. Soon Moe is about to discover that three is indeed a crowd...

"Eggs" is the debut film of Bent Hamer, who became popular to an international audience by his later movies "Kitchen Stories", "Factotum" and "O' Horten".

Note: The movie itself is not subtitled, but there is another avi file included containing some "Best Of" clips from the movie, which has hardcoded english subtitles. Having seen them the rest of the movie should be a pleasure because most of it needs no explaining words.
